Primary Care Physician or NP - Locums in Iowa, No Call

Primary care assignment in Iowa; no call, weekday hours, and Medicare-focused outpatient setting.

Practice Setting

• 100% outpatient clinic
• Medicare patient population (age 65+)
• Team-based model with MDs, NPs, MAs, RNs, and scribes
• EMR: Canopy/Greenway

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 8a-5p
• 3-month initial contract with potential to extend

Cases and Procedures

• Traditional internal medicine: diabetes, HTN, hyperlipidemia, CHF, cognitive decline
• No procedures required
• 16-18 patients per day

Requirements

• Active Iowa license required
• Must be enrolled in Medicare and Medicaid
• MDs or NPs accepted (NPs must hold a primary care cert, FNP only)
