UCR Health has a Nurse Practitioner (NP) position in La Quinta, CA. Working independently and in conjunction with physicians the NP will be providing clinical expertise and care to complex patients by taking detailed medical histories, performing exams, interpreting test results, making diagnoses, referrals, and implement ambulatory treatment.
Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
The NP for Pediatrics will require background in a pediatrics or primary care setting.
Must meet UC credentialing requirements.
Current California Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner license.
Current unrestricted DEA license and National Provider Identifier (NPI) number.
As required for provider Medicare enrollment, national certification from one of the organizations listed below that is recognized as national certifying body, as applicable to the role:
American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), American Nurses Credentialing Center, Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (previously named the National Certification Board of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and Nurses), Oncology Nurses Certification Corporation, AACN Certification Corporation, or National Board on Certification of Hospice and Palliative Nurses.
