Inpatient Pediatric Oncology

Under the direction of the attending and practicing within developed standardized procedures and process protocols, the Advance Practice Provider will evaluate, diagnose and treat oncology patients in an inpatient setting. Central to the role, the Advanced Practice Provider will assist in developing and implementing plans of care for all patients on the oncology floor. The Advanced Practice Provider functions in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary oncology team, while also providing consultation and education to patients and their families.
The successful candidate will be a California licensed and be a certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with at least two years of bedside experience in direct oncology care. The candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills. At least one year of clinical Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner experience is desired, but not mandatory.

Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.
